- This movie was the first thing ever related to the Ninja Turtles that was computer animated.
- TMNT is based a few years after the 1993 movie Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3, and fits into the story-line very well.
- TMNT was originally announced in the year 2000, under the production of John Woo, needless to say, it didn't work out very well, and was put under the 'new management' of Kevin Munroe, with some assistance from the co-creator of the Ninja Turtles Peter Laird
- The line at the end of TMNT ' We live together, we train together, we fight together, we stand for good together... we are ninjas. We strike hard, defend and protected and fade into the night and there ain't no bad guy or monster that gonna ever change that. That's what is important and that's why we will always be... brothers' inside of that, is something from the mirage comics, and also the 2009 movie 'Turtles Forever'.

- The voice for Mr. Winters, was played by the same man who used to play Captain Jean-Luc-Picard from StarTrek: the Next Generation; Patrick Stewart!
- If this movie had a theme song, I believe it would be the season four theme for the 2003 Ninja Turtles:
TMNT had a great plot, the animation was amazing, and the each voice actor was the perfect voice for each character, except possibly Splinter. Splinter was a little scary, and way out of character, but fortunately for us watchers, he had a fairly small role to play. Although the bonus animation 'Splinter gets his Cake' was pretty funny.
If you think about it, the main character for the movie is really Raphael. He is the one who gets to be a night vigilantly known as 'Nightwatcher', and he is also the one who beats Leonardo during the big fight scene, when he almost kills his elder brother. Raphael is also the turtle who is narrating at the end.
All in all, it is one of my new favorite movies, my favorite characters for this movie are Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Michelangelo. I mean, all of them have their roles, that make them tie in, and it makes the whole movie...blend together.
So if you ever get the chance, I definitely recommend this movie, for any audience.
